daily poem

The Cloak Wears Thin
Under the Soaking Rain
Clings to the Skin
too Close no Comfort
Cold Pain Walk
over Concreate a
City impervious to art
talls blocks of cubicles
to stare at screens
seem reasonable
when you consider the cost of parking
their vehicles can be constrained
or the vague humour of street kids
can't be washed off without
needful kinetics
sins without sadness
saints without pain
killer kisses on the
blood soaked vein

The building that had stood for a hundred years stood calmly
and mistook its genetics for legality fettered its theatre over
outstanding claims to gesture
futility to profundity
rejection of anything not purple
these trends were isoloted then confined for fear of
contaminations
